Dyalekt – Death By Ego

Dyalekt hits it out of the park in his first solo project since November 2011 in Death By Ego.  Death By Ego is built almost entirely of Dyalekt-made instrumentals, with only a few exceptions for Colorado heavy-hitters Davey Boy, TC Crook, Leezy (ODX) and a banger all the way from Illinois by regular Diamond Boi collaborator, Tech Groove.  With features sure to accent only the plot and paradox of the concept, Dyalekt brought in some great features by Rhias (Air Dubai), Mane Rok, DeeJay Tense, Luke Skyy, Benjamin Butters, Bravo One, Diamond Boiz, and introduces two new voices by the names of Script and Quse London.

The project is entirely free by the small price of a Tweet or Facebook Share.

Zome, who released his newest EP, Z- Funk Era, the day before, was set to give physical copies of said EP as well as release the music video for So Legit feat. Tony Brown, Julox, & A.V.I.U.S. directed by Blurred Pictures.  But things didn’t go as planned. Though, in good news, almost all of the 200 physical copies of Zome’s Z-Funk Era were taken by the shows patrons, the music video wasn’t so lucky.

Due to technical difficulties in file processing from Serato (music software), the music video was not able to be revealed. Those of many who waited for the video for almost an hour after the Diamond Boiz left the stage, after a very crowd-pleasing performance, were advised that the music video would not, unfortunately, be played.

Still, through the disappointment, today there has been a flood of feedback and sharing of the music video through Facebook, Vimeo & YouTube. So, if you were one of the supporters who made it out last night hoping to see the video, be not discouraged, you can watch the video today from your computer or mobile device, in HD or standard definition, as many times as you can stand!

And, if you did attend the show last night, on behalf of the entire Diamond Boi & You Like This family, we apologize for all technical difficulties and any inconvenience it caused, and, please, enjoy!

Zome comes through on his third full-length project with a funk & hip-hop hybrid in his solo project, Z-Funk Era. The EP was produced and mixed entirely by Zome, as well as written and performed by the Diamond Boi aside from the few features on the project by Dyalekt & Zé, Luke Skyy (ODX), DeeJay Tense, and Baby Jae. Gaining partial inspiration from Warren G’s Regulate…G-Funk Era, Z-Funk is full of funk samples, and even a bonus Electro 80′s joint.

Mane Rok & Dyalekt – Santanamation

Dyalekt teamed with Mane Rok to drop Santanamation today, a tribute to guitar legend, Carlos Santana. The project was entirely produced by Diamond Boi, Dyalekt, and features lyrics from both of the heavehitters, as well as fellow Diamond Boi, Zé, Bravo One (One Eyed Kings), Xencs L Wing, and a special rhodes interuled by Riley Boone.

The EP is 7 tracks long and is sure to bring out your inner Santana, with a fresh-as-can-be hip-hop twist, no matter your music preference.

Mane Rok & Dyalekt – Santanamation

Dyalekt teamed up with L.I.F.E. Crew monster, Mane Rok, to bring a new project based on Carlos Santana. Santanamation was produced entirely by Dyalekt and contains sample-remakes of a range of Santana singles, as well as features lyrics from both Dyalekt and Mane Rok, as well as affiliates Bravo One (One Eyed Kings), Zé, Xencs L. Wing, and Riley Boone on a special rhodes interlude.
