Dreams, Caffeine & Nicotine is a solo project by Dyalekt, member of Diamond Boi Music (Diamond Boiz). It features 13 never-before heard tracks, as well as the online single Crazy. The digital download version also features three BONUS songs: I’m Still Here, Polish My Wings, and So Forgotten II, and is available for FREE on DatPiff.com, MediaFire.com, scarletSmoke.net, among others. The mixtape features a collection of instrumentals, including two produced by Dyalekt himself (So Forgotten III and For Lack of Better Words), as well as instrumentals from national, unsigned hit-makers and commercial favorites. One track, Full Clip, has been made a dedication to the late Guru of Gangstarr. Dreams, Caffeine & Nicotine, named after three “bad habits”, is the first project to be released from the Diamond Boi camp since the Calm Before the Storm mixtape release on June 6th, 2009, and is written, performed and mixed entirely by J. Romero (Dyalekt), with the exception of Sweet Dreams (with a performance from Baby Jae) and the Diamond Boi smash Uptown (with performance & respective writing credits to Ze & Zome).
